Thank you so much to Scott for organizing this meetup. Wish I could be there!
Hello there!
I want to just put a short note here for everyone ne.
If you can't see my blog contents, you're probably no longer in my neighbourhood, either because I don't see you commenting (= you are not interested any more) OR I saw you putting up re-posts of my diary entries or my friends' diary entries somewhere (community, forum etc) without having the basic common sense and decency to ask first. Especially for those translations which we put so much time and effort to do for everyone. Not that my translations are perfect, but I do put in loads of effort like cut-down on sleep etc so that everyone knows more about our beloved Arashi/Hiroshi/Hiro.
Please remember that we should always treasure things and NOT take things for granted, including taking our translations or news or information like they will always be available here. I love Arashi/Hiroshi/Hiro, and I would LOVE to share everything I know about them with all of you. That's the point of my humble blog here. I do have people asking me for special favours or help, and I would agree if it is within my means and capability. BUT please do not take all these for granted and please do remember that things will not be there forever. Let us treasure each other as kind-hearted Arashi fans. (you know who you are ne)
I will only think about re-adding neighbours or adding new neighbours when I am sure the person is genuinely interested and have basic manners/common sense not to steal posts without asking ne. It only takes a moment to ask, and it is no excuse to say that you don't know you must ask. This is just common sense.
Hai, yoroshiku!
It looks like Nino finished work earlier than expected and went to the Kanjani Concert at Tokyo Dome yesterday.
(Did he not go up on stage? He did not go up on stage)
During the MC, Ryo and Yokoyama talked a lot about Nino.
This made Nino very happy.
Conclusion - > Nino will go show off his majic to Kanjani.
it's only like the 3rd wk of school
and someone asked me
Do you regret teaching already?
Hayai ne....
to me, i haf not regretted it yet...
tho I do curse about the hols..haha

but to feel regret at just the 3rd wk of teaching and 3 yrs...
i ownder what happened....
I realized I have a lot of non-Arashic clips as when ever I catch them I would choose to keep them for buddies who would most probably want them.

So Osaka trip wasn't as bad as I expected. I arrived yesterday evening around 5 and the sales greeted me by taking me to a Beer Garden on the terrace of some tall building. I'm not a keen beer drinker, so I had to force myself to drink =_=;; (Actually I hate beer) Japanese tradition...as I am the youngest, I have to make sure I sit closest to entrance, keep an eye open for empty glasses and quickly exchange them with filled glasses, order if it looks like people are still wanting to eat, and act like I'm enjoying the kinki ojisan talks. (It's not that bad) After beer garden, we went for the second round of drinking. (It never ends at just one round) Some more people joined in, and the food was much nicer there so I ended up eating my second dinner. Because I was one of the few non-smokers, they made me sit in the corner, but yikes I realized that I was sitting in a position where more respectful people sit... so re-arrange re-arrange etc.. You always have to have the hierarchy burned in your brain. 6 hours passed, and I was dying to go back to the hotel. I couldn't concentrate on the work-related conversations (plus too hard for me to understand), and the person sitting opposite of me was already asleep (So I guess I win over him). I was liberated around 1am, and was told to be at the loby at 8am the next morning. @@!!! No whinning. It's work.
Last time when I was in Fukuoka, Sakurai-san popped out in my conversation with my collegue. Interestingly, Arashi did pop out in my conversation with my Osaka collegue. We were talking about simultaneous translation, and realized we had both watched the same show. He said "Arashi-chan right?" lols Apparently, he was watching the show with his daughter who is into Arashi right now. But the daughter is 11 years old, so it was ummm..... not too easy to say "I like them too" lols
Anyway, alas I'm more than half way done, as I only have tomorrow morning to go.
Actually, what I wanted to write wasn't about this but about meeting my Arashi buddies. I headed off to Tokyo station around noon yesterday, and saw a huge crowd at Tokyo Dome as I passed it on the train. I saw the goods both selling colorful posters... and I figured it had to be either NEWS or Kanjani.. lols (But it's a Monday!?)
While waiting for my two Singaporean arashic buddies to arrive at Tokyo station, I miraculously bumped into my Japanese friend from my Malaysian highschool! We hadn't met for 1.5 years, so was long time no see XD What a coincidence to meet somebody you know at that huge Tokyo station.. We chatted for a while, and I had to let her go as she had to return to work.. :D She invited me to her fireworks party with 15 of her friends, but since I do not know any of her friends, I told her I was too shy to go.. lols ( Plus I'm a hikki. LOLs )
Anyway, I successfully spotted my two Singaporean buddies descending the stairs with large suitcases, and dragged them into a place to sit down and chat. Of course ....talked about Arashi and the Sapporo con and... just work in general XD Since it was their first time attending the concert for this current tour, it was interesting to find out which parts they enjoyed the most. One of them not having read any concert reports prior to the concert was "..............." to Jun's solo..... lols I wish I had more time, but sadly had less than an hour to spend with them before I had to hop onto my shinkansen.
Homesick as usual~
Hi minna-san!

Went to Little Italy for a bit of grocery shopping. It's the only place with a bus stop right outside the shops, and another almost outside my house. Which is great, coz I tend to buy a lot of heavy stuff. Like fruit and veges. It's amazing how much one person eats. But I digress.
Tonight, it's pizza and pasta night. I'm trying out my "pizza base", which was just really flour, water and oil kneaded together. It's proving as I type. I hope it'll work. If it does, I will try mabo tofu pizza. I promise.
Pizza base works, to an extent. Pending further experimentation. Pasta...I know it works. xD
